Radiolabeling and evaluation of fonturacetam hydrazide as a radiotracer for visualization of brain function

Abstract [ 99m Tc] fonturacetam hydrazide was radiosynthesized to assess neuropsychiatric disorders by targeting the brain. The nootropic drug labeled with technetium-99m, and factors affecting labeling yield were studied. At optimum conditions, radiocomplex obtained at a high radiochemical (98.9%) stable in saline for up 36 h serum more than 24 h. Labeled characterized assessed silico. Biodistribution studies mice showed that brain uptake of complex 8.8% injected dose per gram (% ID/g) 5 min post-injection, surpassing commercially available ECD (4.7% HMPAO (2.25% ID/g). All results suggested tracer is good candidate image human assessing disorders.
